Xinjiang Category 12 college entrance examination students can enjoy the score increase policy. Retired soldiers who are self-employed will receive an additional 10 points. Those who were awarded second-class merit (inclusive) or above during their service or were awarded honorary titles by units in major military regions (inclusive) or above. Retired soldiers will add 20 points. Three good students, outstanding student cadres, outstanding league cadres and outstanding league members commended by the autonomous region will add 10 points. Those who won the first prize in the provincial division of the National Middle School Student Subject Olympiad or the first, second and third prizes in the national finals will add 10 points. Those who win the first or second prize in the National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition (including the National Youth Biological and Environmental Science Practice Activities) or the "Tomorrow's Little Scientists" award activities or the National Primary and Secondary School Computer Production Activities will receive an additional 10 points in the International Science and Engineering Grand Prix or Winners of the International Environmental Research Project Olympiad will receive an additional 10 points. Returned overseas Chinese, children of overseas Chinese, children of returned overseas Chinese, and Taiwanese candidates will receive an additional 10 points. Children of martyrs will receive an additional 10 points. Hui candidates will receive an additional 10 points for participating in major international sports competitions or national sports competitions and finishing in the top six. Candidates from 11 ethnic minorities such as Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and Mongolians (hereinafter referred to as "Minkao Han") who take the Chinese Language Unified Examination and apply for the Chinese Language Enrollment Plan or the Minkao Han Enrollment Plan (hereinafter referred to as the "Minkao Han") can add up to 50 points to participate. Candidates of the Han nationality and other ethnic groups (excluding the 11 ethnic groups that have been provided with care for the "National Language Examination Han") who have applied for the unified ethnic language examination and registered for the ethnic language enrollment plan can receive up to 50 points.
