What are the ancient tombs recorded in ancient books?

In order to prevent the cemetery from being stolen after death, the ancients racked their brains and used various methods. They even set up a deadly organ in the grave and carved a terrible spell. Nevertheless, because the funerary objects were too attractive, the grave robbers tried their best to dig up the cemetery and sweep away the funerary objects.

For thousands of years, except for a few cemeteries, most of them have not escaped the clutches of grave robbers, and many cultural relics have disappeared, which is quite regrettable. However, in Suzhou today, there is an ancient tomb more than 2,000 years ago, which contains thousands of peerless cultural relics. Even Qin Shihuang tried to dig it out, but it was still well preserved.

The owner of the cemetery was He Lv, the monarch of Wu at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period. He used to be a minister of the State of Wu, and later sent an assassin Zhuan Xu to kill Wu Wangliao, thus seizing the throne of the State of Wu. During the reign of He Lu, he recruited talents and made great use of Wu Zixu, Sun Wu and others, and carried out a series of reforms. He began to conquer Chu, Yue and other countries, and soon broke the capital of Chu, which had great influence in all directions.

In 496 BC, He Lv, the king of Wu, led troops to attack the State of Yue and was defeated in the Battle of Tory. He Lv was also seriously injured and died soon. Before he died, He Lu left two last words to his son Fu Cha. One was to let him destroy Yue and avenge himself. The other was to build a solid cemetery for himself, in which more than 3,000 swords were placed.

Focha is a dutiful son. After his father He Lu died, he began to build a cemetery in Huqiu Mountain, Suzhou. According to historical records, Fuxi mobilized hundreds of thousands of soldiers and civilians and spent three years digging a pool in the soil to build an underwater cemetery. Yue Jue Shu wrote: "He Lu's tomb is at the foot of Huqiu Mountain, with a pool of 60 steps and a water depth of 10 feet and 5 feet. The bronze coffin is triple, the mercury is poured into the pool, and the yellow is wild goose. "

In addition, when he was buried according to the law, his son Fu Cha followed his father's last words and put all the collected swords into the tomb, the most famous of which was the fishbone sword. It is said that the fishbone sword was made by Ou Yezi, the master of sword casting. It is made of tin in Red Purple Mountain and copper in Ruoshui River. It is a fighter among swords and one of the top ten ancient swords.

Because he Lu cemetery is in the water and there are so many swords as funerary objects, it is called "sword pool" And Lu cemetery has a history of nearly 2500 years. Numerous grave robbers tried to dig it out, but none of them succeeded. It is said that Qin Shihuang used many people to dig the tomb of He Lu in order to get thousands of famous swords handed down from generation to generation, but it was useless. Sun Quan, the owner of Wu Dong in the Three Kingdoms period, also tried the idea of this cemetery, but in the end he failed, which made it even more mysterious.

In modern times, archaeologists pumped all the water out of the sword pool by machinery, only to find that the entrance to the cemetery was blocked by huge stones and could not get in at all. Some people suggested that the boulder could be removed or pierced by modern technology, but in order to protect the tiger hill and the tower foundation, this suggestion was not adopted at last, so the tomb of He Lu is still intact. If one day, He Lv's tomb is opened, I wonder if there is a legendary peerless sword in it.
