Zheng Qinan pays attention to the purity of drugs, and its aphrodisiac products mainly include aconite, dried ginger, ginger, processed ginger, cinnamon, cassia twig and Evodia rutaecarpa. Its auxiliary drugs are mainly licorice, Amomum villosum, Pinellia ternata, clove, Poria and so on. The medicinal materials are quite refined, and the so-called "picking two or three flavors at will" is a wonderful method. Among them, "monkshood is the main medicine for nourishing Yang Kang, so it is the first choice." Dried ginger is the main medicine for strengthening spleen and strengthening yang. Guizhi is the main medicine for tonifying heart, lung and yang. Cinnamon is used to tonify the burning yang, and it is also good at gasification. It is often used by people who have trouble urinating. For example, "people who defecate twice before and after, and don't feel abdominal distension and abdominal pain, have a smooth tongue and don't think about diet ... can't turn the yin of lower energizer into yang deficiency." The prescription is Sini Decoction plus An Gui (Volume II of True Biography of Medical Principles). Evodia rutaecarpa is the main medicine of Jueyin. For example, "the breast suddenly swells like a plate after illness, the skin color is as usual, the body is slightly painful, the body is heavy and willing to lie down, and people who don't think about everything to eat and drink ... this yin is full, and the vitality is in the liver and stomach. The nipple belongs to the liver, and the nipple belongs to the stomach, which must be in the liver and stomach. This disease should be combined with Fuzi Lizhong Decoction and Evodia rutaecarpa (Volume II of Medical Science). Another example is "a ridge suddenly rises on both sides, the color is like vermilion, the pain is dull, the weight is black, and the claws are black ... This Jue Yin is too cold, forcing Yuanyang. If the husband is threatened on both sides, the part of the liver is also used, and the prescription is Sini Decoction plus Evodia rutaecarpa "(Volume II of Medical Biography). Amomum villosum, Evodia rutaecarpa, Pinellia ternata, clove, etc. should be added to anyone who sees the rise and fall of Qi. For example, "for those disgusting people ... those with stomach yang deficiency and sudden increase of middle cold, the method should be reduced in temperature, such as adding Evodia rutaecarpa and Pinellia ternata" (volume 4 of Medical Science).
Regarding the prescriptions, Zheng Qinan advocated that "the prescriptions and prescriptions are not limited, but as an expert on typhoid fever, he really attached importance to the prescriptions and made good use of them. There is a saying that "those who know its wonders can treat the symptoms of yang deficiency with Sini Decoction, Bai Tong Decoction, Lizhong Decoction and Jianzhong Decoction, and there is no difference ... Those who are light are clear to nourish yang, while those who are big are small. There are also warming yang, such as licorice dried ginger soup, Lizhong soup and so on. Others enthusiastically support Yang, such as the Four Opposites and Bai Tong. This is the key to treat yang deficiency. Because the classics are widely known, I won't introduce them in detail here.
However, Sini decoction, as its most commonly used prescription, is regarded as the "first prescription for tonifying fire", so this paper briefly introduces Zheng's discussion on this prescription. He believes that "Sini decoction helps congenital true yang, not specifically for shaoyin legislation, but can be used in three ways, so it greatly expands the therapeutic scope of Sini decoction." He said: "One side of Sini Decoction is the main prescription of returning to Yang ... It is hard to believe that luparia, the ginger, can come back to life. I began to blame, but I finally believed it. Who is a believer? I believe Zhongjing's use of ginger is meaningful. So the ancients said: heat and aconite. It can be seen that aconite belongs to fire. Ordinary people rely on a real fire, and it hurts. Therefore, the disease sees pure yin and Zhong Jingming is subtle. He knows that the power of aconite can supplement the fire of congenital heartbreak and take it as a king. I was also worried that the resistance of the mass yin could not reach the root, so I used the pungent warmth of dried ginger to dispel it, thinking it was a precursor, swinging all the yin evil, welcoming Yang back to the house, reborn from the fire, regaining vitality, and then returning to Yang. Yang will return immediately. If there is no soil cover, the flame will easily go out. Although it will not last forever, it will be followed by the sweetness of licorice to slow down its meaning. Slow, which means falling. True fire lurks, the root of life is eternal, and it is reborn after bathing in fire. This aspect can be ignored (The True Story of Medical Principles, Volume II).
