What are the four famous pottery?

The four famous ceramics refer to Yixing Zisha in Jiangsu, Jianshui Zitao in Yunnan, Ni Xing in Qinzhou, Guangxi and Rongchang Anfu in Chongqing.

1, Jiangsu Yixing Red Pottery

2. Yunnan Jianshui Zitao

Jianshui multicolored pottery, also known as Jianshui purple pottery, is named after it is produced in Jianshui, Yunnan Province and is reddish purple. According to the existing historical data and textual research, Jianshui purple pottery was produced in the Qing Dynasty, which began in the Daoguang period and developed on the basis of the prosperity of coarse pottery production in the Ming Dynasty. In the history of Jianshui ceramics, there is a saying that "Song has blue porcelain, Yuan has blue and white porcelain, Ming has coarse pottery and Qing has purple pottery".

3. Ni Xing Pottery in Qinzhou, Guangxi

Nixing pottery, taking the purple mud peculiar to the east and west banks of Qinjiang River in Qinzhou City, Guangxi Province as raw materials, sealed the east mud, retrieved the west mud, crushed, dissolved and oxidized by the sun and rain for more than four to six months to reach a weathering state, and then crushed and mixed in proportion to make a ceramic blank. The mud in the east is as soft as meat, and the mud in the west is as hard as bone, and the same flesh and blood support each other. After the firing technology of Ni Xing pottery, Ni Xing ghost pottery was formed.

4. Chongqing Rongchang Anfu Tao

Rongchang pottery has a profound cultural heritage, such as "Anfuchang five miles, fine mud in rows" and "before the mountain and behind the mine, the kiln burns pottery pots and pans". These folk songs, which have been circulating since the Song and Qing Dynasties, vividly describe the scale of production and the grand occasion of sales of Rongchang pottery at that time.

The Origin of the Name of "Four Famous Pottery in China"

1953 65438+On February 7th, the first China Folk Arts and Crafts Exhibition opened in the Beijing Working People's Cultural Palace, and closed on October 6th. At the closing ceremony, Jiangsu Yixing Zisha Pottery, Yunnan Jianshui Multicolored Pottery, Guangxi Qinzhou Nixing Pottery and Sichuan Rongchang Anfu Pottery (renamed Chongqing Rongchang after 1997) were named as the four famous pottery in China by the Ministry of Light Industry.

In May of 20 14, Yunnan Fine Arts Publishing House published The Four Famous Pottery in China edited by Ma Xingyun, which is the first professional book in China that integrates Yixing Zisha Pottery, Jianshui Multicolored Pottery, Qinzhou Nixing Pottery and Rongchang Anfu Tao Wei, and systematically introduces the culture, history, craft, famous artists, works and appreciation of the four famous pottery in China.
