Is there really karma?

Of course there is cause and effect in the world.

The law of causality refers to the most important and direct (or indirect) relationship between all things. It means that any phenomenon or thing must have its reasons, that is, "everything begins and ends" and "as you sow, so you reap". The development of life in this world can get different development (different results) through different efforts (that is, different causes).

Causality law of dialectical materialism: any state of the universe is the result of the accumulation of its previous state of the universe, and any state of motion is the result of its previous state of motion. That is, what causes correspond to what results, which has the widest universality.

The law of cause and effect, also known as "the law of cause and effect". There are three laws of causality, namely:

First, the cause of fruit: there can be no fruit without cause, and there must be a cause for fruit. It is sequential, the reason must come first, and the result can only come later, and the time order of the two cannot be reversed.

Second, the matter must be decided: as the cause-and-effect relationship of an objective phenomenon, it exists objectively, regardless of human will, and it has its universal rationality in things. Where there is life, there will be death, where there is gathering, there will be dispersion, where there is unity, and where there is success, it will be bad. This is an inevitable principle.

Third, nothing can hold water: anything that produces existence must be produced by denying the nature of reality, and the diversity of relations between objective things determines the complexity of causal relations.

Three causal relationships

The first kind: single causality.

The second type: double causality.

The third type: multiple causality.

Buddhism pays the most attention to cause and effect, and the twelve-cause method of guiding Buddhism to practice is the most deeply rooted concept in the law of cause and effect. Buddhism extends the cause and effect of the first world to the cause and effect of the third world, which can explain the corresponding phenomena of the same kind in society, connect everything in series, make people feel awe, achieve supernatural, and yearn for life and death.

The Classic of Causality Theory says: "If you want to know the cause of past lives, the recipient in this life is; If you want to know the afterlife, what you did in this life. "

"Ni Huanjing" said: "If the father doesn't do well, the son won't accept it. If the son doesn't do well, the father won't suffer. Good is rewarded, and evil is rewarded. "
