The idea of immortals came into being on weekends and prevailed in the Warring States period. During the Warring States Period, many legends about immortals and immortals' realms were widely circulated among the people, among which fairy mountain and Kunlun Mountain in the East China Sea were the most magical and widely circulated, which became the origin of the two mythological systems in China. Legend has it that there are five mountains on the sea: Daiyu, Qiao Yuan, Fanghu, Yingzhou and Penglai.
According to Liezi Tang Wen, "Its mountains compete for Wan Li, and its top is 9,000 miles, and the mountains are separated by 70,000 miles, which is called non-neighbors. That is, Tai Yuan, Dai and Taiyin are similar, so Mount Tai is also called Dai, with ancient sound and far sound, and the fish department turns with the Yuan department. Eryadish: East to Taiyuan, west to neighboring countries, south to Pu Pb, and north to. Zhu Li is called quadrupole. Legend has it that the easternmost place is called Taiyuan. Judging from the other three place names, Taiyuan is a proper noun, not far away.
Earlier, some scholars suggested that the name of Taiwan Province Province comes from the initials of Daiyu and Qiao Yuan, and Daiyu Mountain is also a big talk and a distant place, and its pronunciation is similar to that of Taiwan Province Province. They may be the same place names.
But it can't be said that Taiwan Province Province is Daiyu, because the homologous place names may not be in the same place, and the ethnic groups in South Island are widely distributed, so some places with the same name are far away. We can only say that Daiyu or Taiwan Province Province originated from Austronesian language family, and ancient China people were exposed to such place names.
