Manufacturing method of woodcut

The production method of woodcut is as follows:

Preparation materials: wood board, woodcut knife, candle, ink, marker, wood board, ink and paper. Then draw a pattern on the board; Black and white are separated, white places are carved, and black places are left; Colour the blackboard with candles; Burn the candle with an electric iron, so that the candle and the board are integrated; Carve a pattern with a meat cleaver; Paint ink on the pattern left by the board; Just print the picture on the board on paper.

Woodblock prints not only have a long history and a large number, but also have various forms. Before the rise of modern printing, it was the only form of art communication that could be copied in large quantities by block printing. After modern printing and even modern printing, although the social function of woodcut has been obviously reduced, it has not completely withdrawn from the historical stage and still spread all over the world with its unique charm.

The history of folk woodcut in China basically goes hand in hand with the invention and utilization of printing in China, even if it is a little later, it will not be far apart. In ancient times, the invention of paper, ink and pen brought great convenience to people's writing and drawing, which became a great progress of human civilization.

Especially the manufacture and popularization of paper, after about five centuries, with the need of cultural exchange, I felt the slow copying of one book and one painting, which further solved the process of woodcut printing and could be copied in large quantities. Woodblock printing in China is generally believed to have been invented in or before the Tang Dynasty, and it was very mature in the middle of the Tang Dynasty.
