Original text:

Flowers thanked two heartless people and sent the east wind to spring.

Hu Die's dreamer Wan Li and Zi Guizhi were late at night last month.

The book movement in the old garden has been dead for several years, and Huafachun is only full of mirrors.

Naturally, if you don't return it, you will return it. Who will fight for the Five Lakes Smoke Opera?

Translation and annotation

How heartless it is that the water keeps flowing away and the flowers keep dying. It is this ruthless season that I sent the last spring breeze across Cheng Chun. In my sleep, I dreamed of my hometown thousands of miles away. It was late at night when I woke up, and the cuckoo was singing in the branches. I haven't received letters from my hometown for several years, and the spring is blooming, but I am already full of white hair in the mirror. I don't want to go home now, because my ambition has not come true. When I want to go home, I will naturally go home. No one competes with me for the scenery of my hometown.

Distinguish and appreciate

Author: anonymous

This is contained in "All Tang Poems" volume 679. The following is the appreciation of this poem by Mr. He Qingshan, a literary researcher at the Institute of Ancient Books of Anhui University.

Cui Tu has been a guest in Pakistan, Shu, Hunan, Hubei, Qin, Gansu and other places for a long time, calling himself a "lonely stranger" (Da Shu). The Spring Festival Evening was written when he lived in Hubei, Hunan.

When the poems are written together, they render a scene of late spring: spring water flows far away and spring flowers wither. The water is dying, and the spring is drifting away-the poet deeply feels that the spring is fleeting and the years are ruthless. The second sentence of this poem, "Sending the East Wind to Spring", is even more sentimental. "Cheng Chun" refers to the area around the two lakes. The poet personified spring ("East Wind") and said goodbye to her. Here, instead of sending me back to Chunfeng's hometown, he sent me back to a foreign home. The word "send" expresses the poet's sadness. The poet can't help but miss his hometown more in the face of the late spring scenery full of red flowers and catkins. Homesickness, affected by farewell to spring, covers the whole article.

The following sentence is about nostalgia. "Butterfly dreams of Wan Li, and Zi Guizhi was on the third night of last month." Get down to business, this couplet is written on "Spring Festival Evening", which is extremely pithy and a famous sentence handed down from generation to generation. The poet used novel words to create a tortuous and profound situation with neat antithesis and harmonious rhythm. Write dreams skillfully in the last sentence. Because the wanderer is thoughtful every day, he dreams that he has returned to his home thousands of miles away at night. However, this is like Zhuang Zhou dreaming that he has become a butterfly, flying among the flowers. Although interesting, it is illusory and short-lived. After waking up, butterflies are still butterflies, and Zhuang Zhou is still Zhuang Zhou. Wanderers get a moment's joy of returning home from the "butterfly dream", but after waking up, they find themselves still sleeping alone in a foreign land, and their home is still far from Wan Li, which makes them feel more empty, disappointed and homesick. What's more, at this time, it happened to be "the third night of last month"-the dead of night, the moonlight is like water; Cuckoo (Cuckoo) cried sadly under the moon: "Zi Gui! Zi GUI! ..... "Listening to Zi Gui's crying and thinking about the butterfly dream and wandering heart, what kind of pain and sorrow it is, just like the so-called" heartbroken once! "in Li Bai's poem. Here, fourteen words write three meanings: from homesickness to dreams, one layer; Wake up homesick, second floor; Sub-rules cry and call, adding sorrow to sorrow, three layers. These three layers, one deeper than the other, set off each other, such as the dream butterfly and Wan Li, one virtual and one real; Butterfly dream and Zigui cry, one is happy and the other is sad; Zi Gui's crying and the midnight moon, with one sound and one color, constitute a cold, desolate and sad atmosphere, which is shocking and sad. Reading such a poem, anyone will shed tears of sympathy for this wandering poet.

The last couplet conveys feelings with scenery, and the next couplet directly expresses the suffering of homesickness. "The old garden book movement has passed the years, and Huafachun is only full of mirrors." The poet has been unable to go home for a long time, and even his letters from home have been broken for many years. He can't help feeling anxious and worried. The word "move" in this sentence vividly conveys the poet's complex psychology of being expected and complained. "Books move through the years" implies social unrest at that time. The poet is worried about the country and the people to the point where "Fa Hua Chun is full of mirrors". In spring, all things sprout and flourish, but the poet only produces white hair. A word "Wei" highlights the depth of his inner sorrow. It's hard to shake off such deep sorrow.

The last two sentences of this poem are more intriguing. "Don't also, also. Who will fight for the five lakes? " No one competes with me for the beautiful scenery of the five lakes in my hometown If I want to go back, I can get it I'm not going back by myself! Judging from the allusions of the hidden use of the five lakes, the word "Gui" here also contains the meaning of seclusion and pastoral. The poet's career is bumpy, and the phrase "if you don't come back, you will be yourself" is a helpless and sad remark, which profoundly reflects the poet's frustration and hesitation that he is politically cornered and helpless except to stop.

This poem has deep feelings and gloomy style. The first four sentences of the poem describe a specific scene in the late spring evening. The scenery is written because of emotion, and the scenery is lyrical, which contrasts with each other and forms a desolate and sad atmosphere. Homesickness is not directly pointed out in the poem, but a piece of homesickness ripples on the paper. The last four sentences are straightforward, sincere and touching. The tail couplet masturbates and laughs at itself, hiding meaning in the ink and being affectionate.
