Guizhou minzu university was established in May 2007, and it belongs to the Guizhou Provincial People's Government. It is one of the earliest universities for nationalities in New China. It is a key construction university in Guizhou Province founded by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government and the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, and funded by the China Municipal Government to train international students in China.
The school has two campuses. Huaxi Campus is located in Huaxi District, Guiyang City, with beautiful scenery and beautiful mountains and rivers, and is known as the "Pearl of the Plateau". The University Town Campus is located in the national Gui 'an New District, with innovative integration of production and learning and demonstration of ecological civilization, covering an area of 2 183 mu and a school building area of 760,000 square meters.
