Citrus is mainly produced in Zhejiang, Fujian, Hunan, Sichuan, Guangxi, Hubei, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Chongqing and Taiwan Province provinces 10 provinces (cities, districts), followed by Shanghai, Guizhou, Yunnan and Jiangsu provinces (cities), and also cultivated in Shaanxi, Henan, Hainan, Anhui and Gansu provinces.

Hovenia dulcis Thunb: Small crown, small root zone, small fruit, good quality, strong cold tolerance, weak drought tolerance, suitable for clay, weak salt tolerance, not suitable for calcareous soil to resist rapid decay, nematodes and collapse, and very sensitive to skin cracking and leaf breakage. Suitable for ear wood varieties: broad-skinned orange, sweet orange and kumquat.
Citrus grandis: medium crown, high yield, large fruit, good quality, strong cold tolerance, weak salt tolerance, wide adaptability to soil other than calcareous soil, resistance to rapid decay and collapse, and sensitivity to split skin disease and nematodes. Suitable for ear wood varieties: orange, sweet orange, grapefruit, lemon.
Lime: The tree is vigorous, the crown is medium, the yield is high, the cold tolerance is strong, the salt and alkali tolerance is strong, and it is weak if it is too wet. It is suitable for medium clay soil which is sensitive to rapid decay and nematodes and resistant to damping-off. Suitable for all kinds of spike wood.
