Chongqing Library, located in Shapingba District, Chongqing, is a national large-scale comprehensive public library, a major document information collection, exchange and service center in Chongqing, a national key protection unit of ancient books, a national first-class library and a civilized unit in Chongqing. As of July, 2065438+2008, Chongqing Library covers an area of 30,000 square meters with a building area of 50,000 square meters. There are more than 4.6 million books (pieces) in the library, including 532,000 books bound with ancient books and more than 200,000 books (pieces) of United Nations materials.
