Is Meishan religion Taoism?

Meishan religion refers to a polytheistic belief in the people in the cave of Gumeishan (mainly referring to Anhua County and Xinhua County of Hunan Province), where natural gods, ancestral gods and heroic gods blend and exist, and radiate to the surrounding areas and even across provinces and overseas. It is a quasi-religion between natural religion and man-made religion, which is deeply influenced by orthodox Taoism.
