What should I do if the zebra printer feeds the paper incorrectly?

1. Please make sure to pack the paper and carbon tape first.

Generally, there are solid lines and dotted lines in the printer, which respectively represent the paper feeding channels of the label ribbon. If paper feeding is not allowed, first determine whether there is a problem with the installation of consumables.

2. Check whether the paper sensor is adjusted within the paper width (please adjust the label paper at the paper edge on the hole).

If it is a desktop, the sensor is generally fixed. If it is a punching consumable, please confirm whether there is any problem with the winding direction of the consumable, and whether the position of the hole and the position of the hole left by the consumable are correct. If it's a desktop, it's a little more complicated.

Take zebra 105sl PLUS as an example. The sensor is a pair of upper and lower sensors. You need to make sure that the sensor is within the paper range and that the upper and lower sensors face each other. Some papers are narrow and may avoid the sensor channel. You need to move the sensor position manually. The upper and lower reflection sensors need to be in the same position.

3. Check whether the sensor is stuck by paper or has something dirty. If so, please clear the paper or take a balloon or a small brush to clean the sensor.

4. Check whether the label length set on the page is the same as the actual paper. If the settings are different, the barcode printer will also be inaccurate.

5, sensor sensitivity adjustment

If the above methods can't be solved, you can try manual calibration. Please refer to the user manual of the corresponding machine for specific operation steps.

Extended data:

Troubleshooting of zebra printer;

1, the bar code printer power light is not on; Other lights do not light up after starting; One of the correction light, profile light and depth light is not on: the machine is faulty, please contact the supplier.

2. The pause light is on; Paper/ribbon light is on: paper is used up or improperly installed.

3. Printing stops, the pause light is on, and the paper/ribbon light flashes: the ribbon is used up or installed incorrectly.

4. Printing stops, the pause light is on, and the printing light flashes: the printing light is not completely turned off.

5. When printing stops, the pause light is on, and the print headlights are on: the print head is overheated, shut down, and pause printing.

6. There are white stripes in the printing area on the paper: the print head is broken, so change the print head.

7. Print label record is lost: the label sensor is not properly adjusted.

8. There are vertical lines on the label: the print head is too dirty. Clean the print head with an alcohol swab after shutdown.

9. There is a difference between the left and right printing depths: there is a problem with the left and right pressure balance of the print head.

10. Oblique white strip: a wrinkled color.

1 1, long white stripes on several labels: wrinkled colors.

12, ribbon wrinkling: the ribbon path is incorrect; Uneven installation or incorrect selection of printing depth and pressure.

13. One or three labels are not located correctly: the print head is turned on and off, and the labels are not installed correctly.

14. The computer sends data to the barcode printer, but the printer does not move, and the data light flashes and goes out: the serial port checks whether the communication parameters between the printer and the computer are consistent.

15. When the computer sends data to the barcode printer, the printer does not move and the data light does not flash: the printer does not receive data, so check the cable. Otherwise, there should be a problem with the printer interface, and the serial printer can't print online. It may be that the integrated block of U5 1( 105S) component (Max232) on the motherboard is damaged. If S500, U28 on the motherboard may be damaged.

16. The label paper was not cut by the cutter: it was not set to paper cutting mode; The plug of the paper cutter is loose.

17. The paper cutter did not completely cut off the label: the paper cutter was too dirty; The tool is too blunt; Used for too long, mechanical wear.

18, there is label paper in the paper cutter; Paper cutter stuck: flip the upper cutter to exit the label. Turn on the machine to reset the cutter, and then put in paper to reset.

19. When printing is stopped, the paper/ribbon light is on, the pause light is on, and the data light is on: when the machine has data, press the pause light to continue printing after changing the paper.
