Xuzhou Chengxiacheng Ruins Museum

Xuzhou Xiacheng Ruins Museum is invested and built by Xuzhou Metro Group. The museum, with a total construction area of about 3,700 square meters, adopts the 37-meter long-span column-free space design and fair-faced concrete construction technology pioneered in China, and consists of sinking square, entrance hall, preface hall, water academy and archaeological hall of the site.

Among them, the preface hall introduces the general situation of Xuzhou Xiacheng site through pictures, objects and videos. The site hall adopts the way of protecting the original site, showing the strange landscape of Xuzhou "Xiacheng, Xia Jie and underground wells" from Ming Dynasty to Han Dynasty.

On July 15, Xuzhou Xiacheng Ruins Museum officially opened.

Museums make the cultural relics buried underground "alive" in the urban renewal through the way of "original site" and protection exhibition. It is understood that the Xuzhou Xiacheng Ruins Museum shows the original appearance of four courtyards, 14 building foundations, two road remains, 1 wellhead and 1 stove remains, which profoundly shows the evolution history of Xuzhou in 2600 and also benefits the citizens who come to visit.

Xuzhou Xiacheng Ruins Museum is located under Pengcheng Square in Xuzhou. In the way of preserving the original appearance, the original appearance shows the urban overlapping scenes of "Downtown, Xia Jie and Underground Wells" in Xuzhou from Han Dynasty to Ming Dynasty.
