If it is photocopying, just press the resolution of the picture directly, for example, 300dpi, so the cost is relatively low. To be honest, I don't like it. There are fewer dark books to choose from. If you are a professional academic researcher and like silk-bound books on rice paper, photocopying may be the first choice.
Photocopying has nothing to do with the reputation of publishing houses. Everyone uses the same edition (scanned pictures of museum collections are paid), but private publishing units are more inclined to spend money on binding and production technology, materials and ink. Therefore, buying books only depends on the publishing house and the type of reading. Because many books are published by private companies, considering the management fee of ISBN, booksellers will choose publishing houses selectively.
