After the May 4th Movement, Nietzsche's works have been more widely spread in the literary and art circles. In the month of the May 4th Movement, Fu Sinian put forward a slogan in Trendy magazine: "We should look for Superman along the street with lanterns and beat the devil with sticks."

In September of the same year, Tian Han introduced Nietzsche's early work The Occurrence of Tragedy in detail in China Youth, with special emphasis on "The more miserable life is, the more we must have the will of a powerful country" to fight.

Later, Shen Yanbing published the most critical translations of two chapters of Nietzsche's representative works, The New Idol and The Fly in the Market, in Liberation and Change magazine, praising Nietzsche as a great writer with a sharp, shocking and civilian style. As far as his Zarathustra says, it is also a rare book in literature. At this time, Guo Moruo was also fascinated by Nietzsche's theory and thought. He doesn't have Nietzsche's "Look!
