Video Introduction Whenever you see the red seal on calligraphy and painting, you will feel "Wow, it's amazing". Did you make a seal with rubber when you were a child? Today, we will teach you how to make seals at home. You will need markers, pencils, ink pens, white paper, carbon paper, carving knives 1, and choose printing materials according to the hardness of carving knives and your own preferences. Common printing materials include lithograph, plexiglass and jade. Note: The operating instructions of the carving knife will indicate the printing materials suitable for seal cutting. Hard materials such as jade, porcelain and crystal are not used much. 2. Determine the content to be lettered and look for the font you want in the lettering dictionary. Tip: Having a certain calligraphy foundation and a little creativity can make your seal more unique. 3. Write the content to be engraved on translucent paper, choose different compositions and fonts, draw multiple templates, and then choose the most satisfactory one. 4. Turn the template paper over, make a composition according to the reverse side you see, and draw fonts on the printed matter. Tip: If you are not sure how to do calligraphy and painting well, you can draw a light draft on Yin Shi with a pencil first, and then draw it with a mark. In order to grasp the thickness, we only need to draw the line part in the next seal cutting stage. 5. Carve the line drawing part with a carving knife. When the stone powder interferes with carving too much, you can use an old toothbrush to sweep away the stone powder. Tip: Beginners can't control the direction of the meat cleaver. You can carve fine lines on the Yin Shi with a carving knife first, and then gradually deepen them. Don't rush to do it at once. Note: the blade of the new meat cutter is coated with antirust oil, which needs to be wiped clean before use. 6. After the initial engraving is completed, gently tap the edge of the seal with a carving knife, so that the effect of the corner can be natural. 7. Try to print on paper with inkpad to see the effect and determine where it needs to be modified. Do you know that?/You know what?
