What are the legends about the sea in ancient China?
There are many myths and legends about "sea" in ancient China, such as "Jingwei filling the sea" and "vicissitudes of life". The allusion of "Jingwei filling the sea" comes from Shan Hai Jing. Tao Yuanming, a poet in the Jin Dynasty, wrote in his poem: "Jingwei holds the wood to fill the sea", praising the tragic fighting spirit of Jingwei bird who dares to fight against the sea. Later generations often use "jingwei reclamation" as a metaphor for the arduous cause of people with lofty ideals and benevolence. "Things change" comes from Ge Hong's Biography of Immortals in Jin Dynasty. The original intention is that the ocean will become land, and the land will become ocean, indicating that the world has changed a lot.
