Hubei Provincial Library
Hubei Provincial Library was founded by Zhang Zhidong on 1904. It is an earlier provincial public library in China. 20 18 was rated as a national first-class public library by the Ministry of People and Culture of China in April. Located at the southern foot of Sheshan Mountain in Wuchang, the old museum covers an area of nearly 30,000 square meters, with a total collection of more than 4 million volumes (pieces), including more than 450,000 rare books of ancient books, and nearly 50 disciplines (fields) have reached or approached the research level.

Wuhan Library
Wuhan Library was founded in 1946 10, and its predecessor was Hankou Municipal Library. 1953 officially changed its name to Wuhan Library, and moved to its current address (No.86 Jianshe Avenue1) in February 2000, opening to the outside world. The new Wuhan Library covers an area of 32,975 square meters and provides readers with 2 157 reading seats.

Wuhan Children Library
Wuhan Children's Library was established in March 1958, and was established independently in March 1987. Located in the city center, the main building is a western-style building. Before liberation, it was originally Jincheng Bank. After liberation, it was built into a reading center and activity center for urban children. Wuhan Children's Library has won many awards from the Ministry of Culture and provincial and municipal cultural authorities, and has been rated as "National First-class Children's Library", "National Civilized Library" and "Readers' Favorite Library" for four times.

Huangshi library
Huangshi Library was established in 1 June 65438+September 9561. The new library of Huangshi City is 9200 square meters, located at No.5/KLOC-0, Guanghui Road, Tuanchengshan, Huangshi City. 20 18 was rated as a national first-class public library by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Culture in April, with a collection of 850,000 volumes. It has been awarded the title of "National Civilized Library" by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Personnel for three times.

Shiyan library
Shiyan Library is located atNo. 1 1 Park Road, Shiyan City. Established in February of 1979, with a building area of10300m2. * * Collection of 7 1700 volumes (pieces). You can use the digital resource 150TB to order newspapers and periodicals every year. It receives more than 600,000 readers and borrows 740,000 books and periodicals every year. In April, 2065, 438+08 was appraised as a national first-class public library by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Culture. It has been rated as "national first-class library" for five times in a row.

xiangyang city library
Xiangyang Library was established in June of 1953 and June of 10. Its original site was Zhaomingtai, Shizi Street, Xiangcheng District, and it was moved to Tanxi Road 169, Xiangcheng District in June 18. In April, 2065438, it was rated as a national first-class public library by the Ministry of People and Culture of China. The existing building covers an area of 24 mu, with a building area of 665,438+000 square meters. There are 400 thousand kinds of books and more than 830 thousand volumes. There are 7 reading rooms with 500 reading seats, and the children's reading area is increased by 100 square meter. The new building has a total construction area of more than 50,000 square meters.

Yichang Library was established with the approval of Yichang Municipal People's Government on March 25th, 2008, 1956, and the new library was completed and opened on September 28th, 2008. The building area is 1.7 million square meters, the main building has 7 floors in total, the largest collection of books is 1.5 million books, the number of reading seats is 1.0 million, and there are 400 network nodes, which can receive more than 3,000 readers every day. It is a relatively large-scale library in Hubei Province. 20 10 was awarded the "first-class library" by the Ministry of Culture.

Jingzhou library
Jingzhou Library is located next to Jingsha Avenue on the south side of the Central Gymnasium in Shabei New District. In 2005, the libraries directly under the three cities merged, with a total construction area of 1.3 million square meters. In April, 2065, 438+08 was appraised as a national first-class public library by the Ministry of People and Culture of China. The new library covers an area of nearly 20,000 square meters, with 1.200 reading seats and a collection of 1.35 million books. 1995 was rated as "National Civilized Library" by the Ministry of Culture.

Ezhou library
Ezhou Library, located at the intersection of No.38 Gucheng Road and Wenxing Road in downtown area, was rated as a national first-class public library by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Culture on April 20 18. With more than 400,000 books, 500 reading seats, nearly 100 network nodes and 500 readers a day, it is an open public welfare library with a total area of12,000 square meters and a construction area of 8,000 square meters. It has a beautiful environment and a rich collection of books, standing in the east of the Yangtze River.

Xiaogan library
Xiaogan Library, founded in 1978, has a total construction area of 4,200 square meters. 20 18 was rated as a national first-class public library by the Ministry of People and Culture of China in April. Xiaogan Library has a collection of 300,000 books, more than 600 kinds of periodicals and newspapers, and more than 6TB of digital resources. There are many service windows such as book borrowing, newspaper reading, literature inquiry, children's borrowing, electronic reading, the voice of the blind, reader activities, training and so on, which receive nearly 400 thousand readers every year.
