The general process of traditional Chinese medicine dispensing is divided into six procedures: prescription review, pricing, preparation, review, packaging and dispensing. The details are as follows.
1. Reviewer
Examiner refers to the pharmaceutical examiner who examines the prescriptions prescribed by doctors for patients. Qualified prescriptions can be paid to appraisers for pricing and charging after being signed by inspectors. For those prescriptions that are in doubt or unqualified, you should contact the prescriber immediately, ask the reasons and negotiate to deal with them, and never just make a subjective judgment or deal with them at will. The examiner focuses on the following items: ① Whether the patient's name, age, sex, prescription date and doctor's signature are clear, and the public payer needs to check the public expense certificate and number.
② Whether the name of the drug is clearly and accurately written and whether the dosage exceeds the normal amount, especially for children, the elderly and the infirm. (3) Whether the toxicity and prescription of narcotic drugs meet the requirements, and whether there are compatibility contraindications such as "eighteen contradictions", "nineteen fears" and "pregnancy contraindications" in the prescription.
④ Whether there are "footnotes" and "simultaneous prescriptions" for drugs that need special treatment (referring to the combination of 2-3 central drugs in the prescription, most of which have basically the same curative effect, such as winter refers to asparagus and Ophiopogon japonicus, or common compatibility such as white refers to Anemarrhena asphodeloides and Cortex Phellodendri) is clear. ⑤ Whether the drugs in the prescription are fully prepared in the dispensing room.
2. Pricing
To shorten the time for patients to take medicine, it must be accurate and fast.
deploy
Dispensing refers to the operation that the dispensing personnel accurately allocate drugs according to the doctor's prescription signed by the inspector and paid the fee. When preparing, weigh them one by one according to the order of prescription drugs; Drugs that need special treatment, such as decocting first, then decocting, and so on, should be packaged separately, and the treatment method should be indicated; The prescription of Chinese patent medicine shall be prepared in accordance with the name, specification and dosage specified in the prescription;
The deployment personnel must concentrate and be careful, and never take the wrong medicine or weigh the wrong dose; Prescriptions should be opened one by one to avoid confusion; Emergency prescription should be given priority; Keep the workbench, weighing instruments and appliances in the recipe room clean and tidy. In a word, active measures must be taken to ensure the quality of the formula. After the deployment is completed, it shall be signed and sealed after self-inspection and submitted to the auditor for review.
4. Review, packaging and distribution
In order to ensure patients to use drugs effectively and safely, and to prevent the mistakes and omissions of preparations, experienced Chinese pharmacists conducted a comprehensive and meticulous check on the prepared drugs on the basis of self-examination of the formula, focusing on checking whether the prepared drugs and doses are in line with the prescription; Whether the drugs requiring special treatment have been specially treated as required;
Whether there are quality problems such as moth-eaten and moldy drugs in the collection and collation of medical education | net; Whether toxic drugs, incompatible drugs and precious fine drugs are used properly; Whether the dispatcher signs, etc. After the audit is correct, the auditor can sign and seal the medicine and then bag it for distribution.
The full name of the patient is written on the packaged medicine bag. Chinese patent medicines must also indicate the usage and dosage.
Distributing medicine is the last link of distributing medicine. When dispensing, you should check the name of the drug with the patient, and then patiently explain the decocting method and matters needing attention to the patient, so that the patient can fully understand and ensure the effective use of the drug.
