Main scientific research projects of Dream of Red Mansions Institute

With the efforts of all the staff of the Institute and the strong support from all walks of life, the main scientific research projects completed in the past ten years are as follows:

(1) Revised Notes on A Dream of Red Mansions, published by People's Literature Publishing House in March, 1982. The text of the new school-based school is based on Chen Geng's version, and refers to more than ten other early versions of fat evaluation. In terms of annotation, the new school has widely adopted research results, which is more than twice as much as the original "humanities" and has a new look.

(2) Complete the school-based collection of "The Story of the Stone in Zhiyinzhai". Based on Chen Geng's version, the book collects more than a dozen early fat reviews found so far, with more than 10 million words. 1988 published by Culture and Art Publishing House, 1989 published at the end of the year, 16 five volumes.

(3) Complete the compilation of A Dream of Red Mansions Dictionary. This is a reference book that embodies the efforts and wisdom of researchers at home and abroad for several years. It is not only large in scale, informative and complete in items, but also comparable to A Dream of Red Mansions in terms of cultural content and academic information. 1988 completed, 1989 published by Culture and Art Publishing House.

(4) Organizing the compilation of A Dream of Red Mansions. This book is listed as a key scientific research project of the Seventh Five-Year Hospital, and the first draft has been completed and is being revised and supplemented.

(5) The large-scale documentary "Cao Xueqin and A Dream of Red Mansions" has been produced, and the information edition is being edited. The data version will be completed in the spring of 199 1. After that, the radio version and the teaching version will be completed.

(6) Complete the editing and publishing of A Dream of Red Mansions. Since the publication of 1979 in March, it has been published four times a year. Up to now, nearly 45 episodes have been published and 10 million words of research articles have been published.
