Is the automatic scanner useful? I have seen it in the exhibition, but I have never seen it useful in the library.
I know a library bought it, and it always goes wrong, and then I go to the corner to eat ash. Automatic scanners can scan new books, but not old books, while libraries generally scan old books and periodicals for digitization. If it's fragile and precious ancient books, I suggest you don't even try the automatic one, because you won't know until you tear it up.
