Overview of He Dian Edition

The earliest edition of He Dian was published by Shanghai Shenbao Museum in the fourth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (AD 1878).

1926 in may, Liu Bannong accidentally got the old version of "He Dian" at the Beijing Changdian Temple Fair. After punctuation and proofreading, he is going to publish, and Lu Xun is invited to make a preface. On May 25th, Lu Xun wrote an inscription for Semi-farmers.

1June, 926, Beixin Bookstore published a typography, the first edition of the Republic of China, with Lu Xun's inscription.

The third edition was published in May, 1928, and was collected by Shanghai Qingyun Book Company. He Dian has 32 folio pages (13x 18.3cm), 100 pages, paperback, right turn. The cover is a picture of a ghost, bold in design, etched and printed in black, dark blue and light blue, with traditional vertical text.

In front of the book, there is a book "Attention to Book Buyers", which Qingyun Bookstore is going to open. Then there is "summary", who knows the waves; Catalogue; "Preface 1", Taiping Guest Title; "preface 2", passers-by asked; The original postscript, the postscript of the sea knight. The title page of the book shows that the first edition in July, 15th year of the Republic of China (1July, 926) was only one month away from the first edition of Beixin Bookstore, so it can be seen that two editions were published in the same year.

It is said that Wu Zhihui and Liu Bannong got He Dian's old books at the same time and published them separately. This matter has yet to be tested.

1July, 926, Shanghai Qingyun Book Company published the first edition of He Dian,1May, 928, the third edition; Exquisite binding, the cover is sheepskin, gold-plated, and the book is marked Lu You White School. The text is almost the same as that published by Youlian, and some words changed are the same. There is a summary written by "Wandering at Sea" in front of the title page, and the content is also from the advertisements of Beixin Bookstore Edition and Guangxu Four-year Edition. There is nothing new in this article.

1932, Japan plans to compile the Complete Works of World Humor. Lu Xun recommended He Dian as one of China's eight humorous works to Masuda.

1935 in may, "He Dian" was published by Shanghai Dada book supply agency, indicating reprinting and punctuation.

1946 10 He Dian, who was included in the handbook of ten thousand people by Shanghai youlian publishing company, is a pocket book with the cover saying "Mr. Wu Zhihui recommended an immortal masterpiece" and the print run is 10000 copies; Some words in the text have been changed.

1981February, China industrial and commercial publishing house published the "internal distribution" version of He Dian.

1981may, China people's literature publishing house published a new collated version of He Dian.

From June, 5438 to February, 2000, China Lin Xue Publishing House published a new edition of He Dian, with the cover label: "Zhang Nanzhuang titled Lu Xun Entering the River and Tang Xilin's Painting".

In September, 2003, China Braille Publishing House published "He Dian" with the cover title: "This Book Saved Peking University".
