Employment direction of law major

The employment direction of law major includes mediator, arbitrator and law teacher.

I. Mediator:

There are many mediators in society, such as mediators set up by neighborhood committees and mediators set up by people's mediation committees. As an informal dispute resolution method, the requirement for mediators lies not in the requirement of legal profession, but in their popularity or coordination ability, as well as their decent and reliable image among the people.

Of course, for the staff of the Consumer Protection Committee, there is a need for staff with higher professional standards. Now the Consumers Association needs a group of staff who can conduct legal research, investigation and mediation, and fresh graduates majoring in law can choose to apply for the exam.

Second, the arbitrator:

Arbitration is a way to resolve disputes agreed by both parties, and its arbitration result has high legal effect, because it involves the high trust of both parties in the arbitration application, and once arbitration occurs, it will have legal effect binding both parties, so arbitrators are generally legal professionals with high academic status or strong practical ability and strong credibility in the legal field.

You can still enter the arbitration institution, because every arbitrator in an arbitration case needs an assistant, that is, an arbitration secretary or a case-handling secretary, to handle arbitration procedures, bind arbitration trial records and arbitration files, make various arbitration documents, and conduct arbitration business research in combination with case-handling practice.

Third, the law teacher:

Speaking of law teachers in colleges and universities, the positions that fresh graduates can choose basically only include doctoral students. Basically, all teachers in colleges and universities need doctoral degrees, and some powerful universities may require overseas doctors.

So for fresh graduates, if you want to apply for this position, then education is your biggest threshold. Of course, it doesn't mean that you can enter colleges and universities with a doctorate. You should also give full consideration to your academic research experience and ability, as well as your practical teaching ability.
