Is Jiang Chong a good person or a bad person?
Jiang chong (? -9 1 BC), whose real name is Qi, whose word is Ci Qian, was born in Handan, Zhao (now Handan, Hebei) in the Western Han Dynasty. Jiang Chong left a deep first impression on Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty. He is tall and handsome, and his clothes are light and gorgeous. He speaks very well, too. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty could not help but admire: "Zhao Yan is a strange man, and it really is." Then, he appointed Jiang Chong as the ambassador, directing embroidered garments. In this way, Jiang Chong stood out and became a trusted minister around Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. He is responsible for supervising the words and deeds of nobles and recent ministers to see if there are extravagant violations. During his tenure, he acted decisively and selflessly, and was quite explosive without favoritism towards his relatives and the country. Jiang Chong was notorious as a "great traitor" because of witchcraft in the official history of the Book of Kings and Generals, but he was an active and far-sighted avenger of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty in his later years.
