Liang Sizhuang was born in Kobe, 1925. At the behest of his father Liang Qichao, Liang Sizhuang was taken to Canada to study by his sister Liang. First, he studies in Ottawa Middle School. After graduating from high school, he was admitted to McGill University to study literature. 1930, obtained the Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University. The following year, she went to the Library College of Columbia University in the United States and obtained a bachelor's degree in library. 193 1 After returning to China, she immediately devoted herself to the librarianship in China, and successively engaged in the cataloguing of western languages in Beiping Library, yenching university Library and Guangzhou Zhongshan Library. 1936, Liang Sizhuang returned to yenching university and served as the head and director of western language cataloging in yenching university Library. From 1943 to 1946, she worked as a librarian in yenching university, Chengdu, which moved south due to the war. 1946, after yenching university moved back to Beijing, she continued to be the head of the western language cataloging group of the library, and later served as the deputy director of the library. From 65438 to 0952, after the original yenching university Department was adjusted, Liang Sizhuang was appointed as the deputy director of Peking University Library. From 65438 to 0980, Liang Sizhuang, who was over 70 years old, was elected as the vice chairman of library society of china, representing library society of china in the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions. 198 1 April, Liang Sizhuang suffered from cerebral embolism due to overwork. Since then, she has been in bed for five years due to illness, and died on May 20th, 1986, at the age of 78.
