There is a clear record of "Aconitum Gate" in Yuan Gui, an ancient book in the Song Dynasty. It is recorded that the main gate valve reads one foot and two feet, and the two columns are separated by one foot. The ends of the columns are Anhua bamboo slips, and the ink number is Aconitum.

At the same time, in Li Jie's Architectural Style in the Song Dynasty, there are detailed regulations and introductions on how to build the "Aconitum Gate". There are three names written in the book: one is Aconitum Gate, the other is table opening, and the third is valve reading. Today it is called the gate.
