Symptoms include aversion to cold, fever, no sweat, head and body pain, fullness in chest and hypochondrium, asthma and cough, excessive phlegm and saliva, or asthma due to phlegm, inability to lie down, or severe pain all over the body, edema of head, face and limbs, white and slippery tongue coating, and floating pulse. It is now used for chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma and emphysema. It belongs to exogenous cold, and some people give up drinking.
