Hello, everyone, I am an old cow born after 80, and I am an ancient coin lover. This is the second graphic version of ancient coin terms compiled and published by me. If you want to learn more technical terms of ancient coins, you can read my earlier article 1.

There are many technical terms in this paper, including 12. It is really difficult for beginners to remember these terms at once. Generally speaking, the terms in this paper include the following three aspects:

First: wear, second: outer Guo, and third: inner Guo.

First of all, the hole of ancient coins is called "wear".

Wide grinding: the perforation is obviously wider than the original, so we call it "wide grinding"

Narrow penetration: the perforation is obviously narrower than the original, so we call it "narrow penetration"

penetrate

Roundness: The hole in the middle of the coin is round, which we call "roundness".

Full penetration: If there is no perforation in the middle of the coin, we call it "full penetration", which is caused by improper operation when casting the mold.

Perforation: The perforation dislocation is not square, which is called "perforation", among which hexagonal perforation is called "tortoise shell perforation" and octagonal perforation is called "diamond perforation".

Then let's talk about foreign countries: the outermost circle of ancient coins, which we call "border country" or "foreign country"

Generalized margin: the outline of currency is wider than that of normal currency. We call it "grace" It can also be called "wide edge".

Narrow edge: the outline of money is narrower than normal money. We call it "narrow side".

Finally, let's talk about the inner Guo: the protruding part around the ancient coin hole, which we call the "inner Guo". Also known as "wearing Guo".

Guangguo: The national line in China is thicker than the normal money. We call it the country of light.

Xiguo: The Guo line of Neiguo is thinner than normal money, so we call it Xiguo.
