The four masters of Shuowen and their representative works are:
1. Zhu Junsheng’s representative work "Shuowen Tongxun Dingsheng"
"Shuowen Tongxun Dingsheng" is A phonetic book of Chinese characters written by Zhu Junsheng in the Qing Dynasty. This book is an adaptation of Shuowen Jiezi (Shuowen Jiezi) based on the ancient rhyme department. The whole book is based on the harmonic sound symbols and is divided into eighteen parts of ancient rhyme according to the sounds. The characters that come from the same talisman are all connected together in an orderly manner.
2. Wang Jun's representative work "Shuowen Judu"
"Shuowen Judu" is a collection of calligraphy written by Wang Jun in the Qing Dynasty from various literary masters, distinguishing their correctness and error, and deleting redundant ones. Yao, based on one's own thoughts, is a culmination of language and writing. It is simple and concise. It is a more convenient book for beginners to learn "Shuowen". It has 20 volumes.
3. Gui Fu’s representative work "Shuowen Jie Zi Zheng Zheng":
"Shuowen Jie Zi Zheng Zheng" is a text work written by Gui Fu in the Qing Dynasty. This book uses word examples from various books to prove Xu Shen's original work. It lists ancient books without giving up one's own ideas, and it is divided into different parts, and the context is coherent.
4. Duan Yucai’s representative work "Shuowen Jiezi Zhu"
"Shuowen Jiezi Zhu" is a linguistics work created by Duan Yucai in the Qing Dynasty. It was first published in 1992 Year. It is one of the most intensive and accomplished works on the annotation and research of "Shuowen Jiezi". The book has 30 volumes. This book comprehensively explains the structural principles of Chinese characters, and also has many original ideas on classic characters and phonology.
