The word shamanism comes from the shaman in Siberian Manchu-Tungusic language and becomes the shaman in English through Russian. Shaman refers to a shaman who is engaged in shaman technology, and shamanism is played by scholars who study it; Shamanism is not a specific religion or belief, but a general term for all shaman experiences and shaman behaviors. In Tungusic language, the word "shaman" means to know, and shaman literally means "the person who knows", so shamanism is a way to acquire knowledge. Shamanism is a general term for a phenomenon. There is no dogma and no specific belief system. Different traditional shamanism has different ways and characteristics, and the general definition of shamanism also comes from its experience and technology. Therefore, although only Central Asia and North Asia have this name, Shamanism also exists in the cultures of Eskimos, Maori, Polynesians, Mongols and Indians.
