Brief introduction of Ciyun Temple

Ciyun Temple is a temple located in Tianzhen County. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit and is known as the "Guanbei Giant Temple". Founded in the Tang Dynasty, formerly known as Hokkeji. During the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty, it was renamed Ciyun Temple. The current panoramic view of Ciyun Temple is a complete set of ancient buildings preserved during Xuande period in the early Ming Dynasty. The whole temple is140m long and 40m wide. There are four halls: King Kong Hall, Daxiong Hall, Sakyamuni Hall and Pilu Hall, and there are Guanyin Hall and Dizang Hall in the east and west compartments. On May 25th, 2006, Ciyun Temple, as an ancient building in Ming Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be included in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
