Zhang Dian in Yuan Dynasty has a unique style, which not only uses general written language, but also widely uses spoken language in Yuan Dynasty in writing and litigation. In addition, the hard translation of Mongolian in spoken language used in imperial edicts, decrees and provincial and Taiwan documents also has a special style. Grammatical features are quite different from Chinese. There are many strange words in Mongolian hard translation, such as "belly" (bribery) and "handing in in in business activities". Sometimes these different styles are mixed in the same document. There are many popular characters in Yuan Dynasty in the book, from which we can see the spontaneous trend of trying to simplify Chinese characters in society at that time.
Since the Ming Dynasty, there have been many copies of Yuan Zhang Dian. 1908, Beijing Law School published an engraving with Shen Jiaben as the postscript, which is internationally called Shen Engraving. During the Republic of China, Yuan Engraving was found in the Forbidden City in Beiping. 1972, the Taiwan Palace Museum photocopied this Yuan block print, so that Yuan Zhang Dian reappeared its original appearance.
