The business scope of China Association for the Protection of Monuments and Sites

(1) Following the concept of "monuments" of the International Council on Monuments and Sites, it refers to all buildings and building groups with historical, artistic, scientific, architectural or anthropological value, as well as their environment and related Fixed furnishings, accessories, etc. These include historical carvings, inscriptions, murals, grottoes, and various other immovable monuments of archaeological significance. The concept of "sites" refers to underground or underwater human cultural relics, above-ground ruins or landscapes that are valuable in history, art, science, etc. and have a certain scale and scope. Including artificial works and the unique products of man and nature;

(2) Provide governments, groups and individuals with ways to protect monuments and relics, and collect, research and exchange relevant information on the preservation of monuments and relics. , principles, guidelines, policies, regulations and techniques for protection, restoration and reinforcement, train relevant talents, organize and implement cultural heritage protection, research cooperation and exchange projects, provide consultation on relevant professional work, formulate guiding documents, and participate in historic sites and sites Research and formulate protection regulations, raise funds for the protection of monuments and relics, etc.;

(3) Participate in all international activities of the International Council on Monuments and Sites related to the promotion of the protection, reinforcement, repair and research of monuments and relics, and be responsible for liaison , coordinate and organize all relevant domestic and foreign organizational activities and professional activities related to the International Council on Monuments and Sites;

(4) Cooperate with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the International Research Center for the Protection and Restoration of Cultural Relics (1CCROM), the World Conservation Union (1UCN), regional conservation centers sponsored by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, and other international or regional institutions and organizations pursuing the same goals to establish and maintain close cooperation;
