The library of Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University started construction in early 2002, and opened on October 27th, 2003/KLOC-0, 65438, becoming one of the landmark buildings of Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University. The building area is 23 100 m2, and there are 1600 reading seats. The main feature is to collect basic theories and teaching reference books of humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, engineering technology and other disciplines. There are nearly 800,000 books, about 1800 periodicals and about 1654 38+00 newspapers. There are 7 large reading rooms and 1 dense stacks, including information commons, special collections of foreign books, Chinese books and newspapers, etc.
