Version of Shuo Wen Jie Zi

Gui Fu's books were voluminous and could not be published before his death. Literati only copied it, and it was slightly circulated in the north. During the Daoguang period, Li Youyang made a contribution and obtained the manuscript of Gui's Letter contained in Lianyun Maoji, and asked famous pupils to proofread it. Unfortunately, this version was destroyed in the Xu family in Rizhao soon after its publication, so it was rarely circulated. Tongzhi nine years (1870), Chongwen Bookstore republished according to Lianyun's original edition. However, the original version used by Chongwen Bookstore was missing a page, supplemented by a manuscript and added a mistake, so it was not as good as Lianyun's original version. However, only by relying on this Chongwen bookstore, Gui Shu was widely circulated in the past 100 years, and this contribution is indelible.

1984, Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House borrowed the first edition of Lianyunzi series collected by Zhou Zuoren of Shanxi Normal University Library, and the last page of Zhou Zuoren's old collection was missing, which was supplemented by the first edition of Lianyunzi series collected by Professor Huang Yongnian. Later, Qilu Bookstore also photocopied Lianyun's book, and The Continuation of Si Ku Quan Shu was also included in this book. As for Chongwen Bookstore, there is a photocopy of Zhonghua Bookstore.
