Founded in 1953, the library of Jinan Vocational College is a comprehensive university library integrating auxiliary teaching, scientific research, ancient books collection, culture and entertainment. The collection of books in the library includes engineering, economy, management, literature and art, including not only the departments set up by the college, but also medical and health care, chemical physics, humanities education, ancient books on literature and history, etc.
The library building of Jinan Vocational College has a total area of 1.72 million square meters, with a collection of more than 798,000 paper books (including cooperative education). It shoulders the important task of serving teaching and scientific research, and is the literature information center and academic institution of the college. There are seven stacks, which collect the collected documents according to subject categories, document types and use requirements, forming an overall service pattern of multi-carrier collection of literature resources such as words, electronic publications and network resources.
