From 1979 to 1983, he studied at the Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University and received a bachelor's degree in literature;

From 1983 to 1986, he taught at Nanjing Agricultural University, teaching Chinese language and literature;

From 1986 to 1989, he studied at the Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University and received a master's degree in literature;

From 1989 to 1999, he taught at the Institute of Ancient Books of Beijing Normal University, engaged in the compilation of ancient books and Chinese language Teaching and research work on philology and Chinese culture;

Promoted to lecturer in 1990, associate professor in 1998, and served as master tutor of classical literature;
