The number of books in the German National Library

The total collection exceeds 17385000 pieces. The German National Music Archives in Berlin has 890,000 music documents: 650,000 recorded materials and 336,000 music scores. Mainly responsible for the collection, editing and protection of audio-visual products and the production of bibliographies.
