Yexian was called Kunyang in ancient times, and her civilization can be traced back to the Stone Age. Ye county was the land of Yuzhou in ancient times, and Zhou was the country of British princes. It belonged to Chu in the Spring and Autumn Period and has a history of two or three thousand years. This is the fief of Ye's ancestor, the ancestral home of 23 million Ye's descendants at home and abroad, and the famous Kunyang War happened here in history. Confucius, Huang Tingjian, Li Bai and many other historical and cultural celebrities, either serving as officials or traveling here, left immortal stories and enduring exquisite poems in Mika. Yexian is one of the top ten ancient cities in Henan, a provincial garden county and a provincial health county. The natural landscape includes Gushitan Reservoir, Wangmi Mountain, Shimen Mountain, Wencun Island and Lihe Bridge. In the middle of the Warring States period, it was occupied by Wei, Kunyang was in the north, and Kunyang and two counties were in Qin. The Han Dynasty changed Yexian and Kunyang. From the Jin Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, the two counties lived in peace. Tangfei County is located in Yexian County. Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties belonged to Nanyang Prefecture, 1933 to Nanyang Prefecture, 1949 to Xuchang District, and 1983 to Pingdingshan City in September. Yexian has convenient transportation. The two expressways under construction, Xu Ping South and Luopingluo, meet in China. National Highway 3 1 1, Henan Highway 0 1, Zhu Ping Highway and Pingtong Highway crisscross. Pingwu Railway runs obliquely through the whole territory. Xiaobai, Hong Miao and Shinan provincial roads are under construction.
