Liu Gongquan's Calligraphy Masterpiece

Liu Gongquan's calligraphy is famous for regular script, Yan Zhenqing

Along with Yan Zhenqing and Zhao Mengfu, it is called "Yan Liu".

Also known as "four masters of regular script". Wang Xizhi, a beginner in calligraphy.

Later, he visited famous calligraphers in the Tang Dynasty, absorbed Yan Zhenqing's harmony and new ideas, and created a unique "Liu Ti", which is famous for its strength and health, and later generations have the reputation of "Yan Gu". Inscriptions handed down from ancient times include "Diamond Sutra Engraving Stone" and "Mysterious Pagoda Monument".

The Diamond Sutra is the official book of Liu Gongquan, carved as a horizontal stone, 12 * * * each line 1 1 word. The original stone was destroyed in the Song Dynasty. The only Tang rubbings were found in Dunhuang Grottoes.

The appearance of Liu Ti marked the birth of a more elaborate "regular script", which became the standard of regular script in the next five or six years.

Liu Gongquan is a summary and innovator of regular script. He is learning and inheriting Zhong You.

On the basis of the regular script style of Wang Xizhi and others, he read modern calligraphy, learned from Yan Zhenqing, absorbed his new ideas, and created his own unique "six-body" regular script [19], which was imitated by later generations and became one of the outstanding representatives of "Tang Shu Shang Fa".
