Why was Cai Jing kicked out of the four great calligraphers in the Northern Song Dynasty?

There were four calligraphers in the Northern Song Dynasty: Su, Huang, Mi and Cai. A few people think that Cai Yuan refers to Cai Jing, and later generations changed it to Cai Xiang because of its "bad word".

Cai studied Cai Xiang's calligraphy with his younger brother in his early years. Xu Hao's calligraphy was loved by the gods when Sergeant Admiralty awarded the Qiantang County Commandant. At that time, the literati learned it one after another. Cai Jing also studied Xu Hao's calligraphy with Su Shi, who was exiled to Qiantang, and later learned from Shen Chuanshi and Ou Yangxun, and later changed to "two kings", learning from the strengths of various schools and becoming a whole.

Extended data

Although Cai Jing is a traitor, we should give Cai Jing's calligraphy a certain position and objectively evaluate his calligraphy.

Cai Jing's calligraphy began in the Tang Dynasty and traced back to the "two kings". His brushwork is charming, vigorous, cheerful, calm and unique. He writes freely with a pen, but he doesn't indulge. His brushwork structure naturally echoes, with exquisite layout and vivid charm.

Once, Cai Jing was chatting with Mi Fei, and Cai Jing asked Mi Fei, "Who is the best calligrapher today?" Mi Fei replied: "After Liu Gongquan in the late Tang Dynasty, you and your brother Cai Bian have to be counted." Cai Jing asked, "What next?" Miffy said, "Of course it's me."

This can be seen. Cai Jing's calligraphy has been handed down from generation to generation, including Caotang poems, Fu Jie posts and Gong Shi posts.
