I practice calligraphy.

? I have always sincerely admired people who write well. That beautiful handwriting looks pleasing to the eye and envies you when you look at it. Although I have learned soft pen and hard pen intermittently since I was a child, I have practiced pencils, brushes, pens, chalk and so on, and even I have a homemade quill pen. But I like pens, and there are many pens. After all, I can't improve my writing level. I think I've always been a layman in calligraphy.

When I was in a normal school, calligraphy was a compulsory course. You want to be a teacher, can you write badly? I remember when I was writing in class, every time the teacher came to visit and saw me writing carefully, I also praised, well, progress! He picked it up and studied it carefully, then changed his tune and said, hey (second voice), I was more optimistic just now! That's my handwriting. It's better to look back than to look right. Therefore, I have never had confidence in my calligraphy. I have been practicing for several years, and I have improved a lot compared with my past handwriting. Finally, I can read words in block letters. But deskmate is a model of learning hegemony. The teacher allowed her to practice official script and write long articles. I can't help thinking: writing depends on talent, and I probably don't.

? I haven't practiced calligraphy much since. At work, the most common handwriting is Tian Zi Gerry's handwriting. Teaching my classmates every day is also a kind of practice for me, and I think I barely get started with regular script.

? Suddenly one day, I want to practice writing brush. First, I see my colleagues writing, and second, I think it is better to practice calligraphy to protect my eyesight when I am idle watching my mobile phone! After practicing again and again, I wiped my colleagues' pens, paper, ink and paste, and I practiced Chu Suiliang's student copybook. Chu Feng is a quick hand, and I haven't forgotten all the strokes I learned before. A page of book paper is folded into 16 small squares, and it is not tiring to write one page for each word. It is more interesting to write and practice ancient poems. Fold the paper into 20 squares, and a five-character poem is just right! I practiced a collection of ancient poems back and forth for three or four times, and I felt great progress. However, looking backwards is always better than looking straight. I think this is probably my unbreakable spell. But what does it matter? I don't care anymore.

? The special art teacher in our school saw me practicing calligraphy and told me to practice the original board. The brushwork of this collection is incoherent and tasteless after all. He also told me that Chu's body is delicate, and he can practice Yan's body if he wants to practice his brushwork. I bought Yan Zhenqing Duobao Tower Monument, bought a lot of books and paper, and bought a pavilion of ink. Now I have my own writing brush and insist on writing for an hour or two every day. After writing, I realized another advantage of writing: it is quiet. When writing, I read the posts carefully and have no time to think about other things, so I am in an empty state. When writing, you have to hold your breath and relax your breath, so as to keep your breath steady. In fact, these benefits have been known before, but I have never experienced them. I didn't realize the mystery. Now I realize that writing is so wonderful that I can't stop. After practicing for a while, I began to write fine print. Small print combines the beauty of Chinese characters with unique ingenuity, and most of the posts are photocopied from the original, which retains the original flavor of the paper more than the inscriptions. I practiced Zhao Mengfu's Biography of Ji An. I practiced it two or three times, and then I practiced some other lowercase letters. In short, it is not difficult to write small, but it takes practice to improve.

? Suddenly the summer vacation came, and I set myself a task. I have to practice for two hours every day so as not to get rusty. Write what? I came across a very clear Zhao Mengfu Tao Te Ching. 5000 words, very suitable for festivals, can be written in half a month. At the end of the summer vacation, I wrote the eight-meter-long Tao Te Ching and a dozen small quarto books. I also pressed a few spare chapters and printed them to entertain myself. I didn't expect the school to hold a calligraphy competition at the beginning of school, so I took a ready-made one and took part. I am very happy to win the prize.

After all, small letters are completely self-taught and the methods are relatively wild, so in addition to buying copybooks, I also bought theoretical books to study. Compared with the theory, I didn't expect me to stumble like this, which is quite legal: first big, then small. There is nothing wrong with the structural brushwork. After learning the theory, I have a bottom in my heart, and I seem to pay more attention to it when I write again. I wish I had this understanding twenty years ago. However, no matter when you start, it is not too late for the rest of your life. Every day now is the beginning of the future, right?
