Brief introduction of Zhang Lichao

Mr. Zhang Lichao (1914-1982) is a native of Licheng, Jinan. He began to learn calligraphy at the age of six, one with a deep knowledge and the other with a shallow knowledge. His calligraphy style is soft in the middle, which Fiona Fang used together. He is simple and elegant, smart and romantic, and his calligraphy, lines, cursive script, official script and seal script are all exquisite, especially regular script and cursive script. He is a well-respected and famous calligrapher in contemporary China. Today, we can also appreciate Mr. Li Chao's pen and ink style from the Luban Temple in Qianfo Mountain, the Woniu Spring in Baotu Spring, the boat paintings in Daming Lake and some old shops in the city.

Zhang Lichao, the words are different. 19 14 was born in Zhangjiaquan, Tangwang Town, Licheng County. Famous calligrapher. Zhang Lichao began to learn calligraphy at the age of 6, when he went to a private school. Three years of studying Europe, four years of imitating willow and three years of studying beauty have laid a solid foundation. 65438-0937 worked as a clerk in Jinan. Four years later, I wrote plaques for a living. Engaged in calligraphy professional work after the founding of the people's Republic of China. He studied under the famous calligrapher Wang Ne and made great progress in calligraphy. Zhang Lichao's calligraphy pays attention to the layout of rules and regulations, the coordination of the whole picture, and the consistency of response. Regular script is vigorous, rigorous, simple and vigorous; The brushwork is smooth and full of vitality, giving people a sense of heroic volley. Calligraphy works have participated in national, provincial and municipal book fairs for many times, and their works have been published in many newspapers and periodicals. His works have been included in China Calligraphy Magazine, Dictionary of Calligraphy, Selected Calligraphy of China and Modern Calligraphy of China. Zhang Lichao's calligraphy has a certain influence abroad. 1Feb. 966, China Calligraphy Exhibition was held in Japan, in which nave, official script and seal script participated. 1In July, 1976, Zhang Lichao's works were selected again by the Japan-China Friendship Association, the All-Japan Bookstore Alliance and the Daily News. There are stone carvings written by Zhang Lichao in calligraphy on Mount Tai. He wrote the tablet of Luban Temple in Qianfo Mountain and the stone carving of Woniu Spring in Baotuquan Park. 1982 is dead. He has been gifted since he was a child and has an excellent memory. He was once famous as a child prodigy. It is said that when he was 3 years old, his father carried him in the street, and he especially liked reading couplets on the door. At the age of six, I will never forget anything and write it down silently, which makes my father both surprised and happy. Although his family was poor, his honest father sent him to a private school. He respects his father's orders and the teacher's training. Three years of studying Europe, four years of imitating willow, three years of studying beauty, and ten years of cold and heat. He not only practiced a very rigorous, regular, correct and beautiful regular script, but also laid a solid foundation for calligraphy.

/kloc-at the age of 0/6, he bid farewell to his parents and went to Jinan alone. Whether as an apprentice in a sauce garden or as a clerk in a watch shop, he can practice writing with great curiosity after heavy work. In the mid-1940s, under the introduction of a friend, he began his artistic career under the guidance of the famous calligrapher Mr. Wang Ne.

Mr. Wang Ne, Mo Xian, a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. During the Republic of China, he was re-elected as director of Shanxi Provincial Education Department, director of Shandong Provincial Education Department and president of the Chamber of Commerce. He is a learned man. He is not only good at calligraphy, but also profound in poetry and prose. There are poems and calligraphy to guide the publication, and Mo Bao, who is "far away and high in the sky, I am the peak", stays on Mount Tai. Wang Ne appreciates Mr. Li Chao's enterprising spirit and thinks it is a valuable material. Therefore, he not only carefully taught ancient poetry in terms of words, brushwork and calligraphy, but also often took him to various pen meetings and made extensive acquaintance with famous calligraphers. Under the strict and systematic guidance of teachers, Mr. Zhang Lichao was deeply influenced and worked hard for more than ten years. In the late 1940s, he became a famous calligrapher in Quancheng.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Wang was able to engage in professional calligraphy work, devoted his life to the research and creative practice of calligraphy art, and his calligraphy talent was fully exerted. Mr Zhang Lichao is not only good at regular script, but also good at cursive script. His cursive script is like a snake, and the paper is full of smoke. Elegant appearance, stubborn connotation, pure and natural, without a trace of dust. This is far from the self-venting of some so-called calligraphers. For example, the last cursive calligraphy work "Full Moon and Top Gun" written by him for his second son, Guo Ying, with its rigorous, steady and tall posture, contains a transcendental and free-and-easy charm, and the connection between stippling and painting increases, which strengthens the rhythm of emphasizing light and is elegant and contains alcohol. It has a rigorous and simple side, subtle but not delicate; At the same time, there is a warm and unrestrained side, and the pen and ink are hearty and unrelenting. The dynamic and stippling form caused by Xu's slow pen gives people a gentle and calm feeling.

Looking at the development of Mr. Wang's cursive script, the general trend is just as Sun's Book Spectrum said, "Beginners are distributed, but they seek fairness; Knowing that justice is right, we must pursue danger; It can not only avoid danger, but also restore justice and realize the development from primary justice to advanced justice. Therefore, some connoisseurs of calligraphy and painting say that it is a very important standard to distinguish the authenticity of books signed by Mr. Zhang Lichao in the market, and even the arrangement of seals reflects the stability and fairness of the overall layout. Mr. Wang, like many calligraphers, likes to draw a few calligraphers' works in his spare time, but most of his paintings are sketches, especially "Four Gentlemen's Paintings". Most of his paintings are ink paintings, rarely using colors, and pursuing a quiet, elegant and unique beauty. It is precisely because there are too many people who ask him for words that he never shows people by painting, so few people know that he is still a master painter.

Another hobby of Mr. Wang is poetry. His antithesis poems are not only lofty in artistic conception, but also plain in antithesis, distinct in levels, harmonious and neat. In the office of Mr. Zhang Guoying, his second son, director of Shandong Bookstore Association, vice chairman of Jinan Bookstore Association and member of CPPCC, I was fortunate to see a beautiful couplet written by Mr. before the Cultural Revolution: "I have always been colorful, but I cherish pottery." Mr. Wang's personality, like his calligraphy, is unpretentious and contains rich connotations. Anyone who knows him well knows this. He has long been engaged in and attached great importance to the teaching and popularization of calligraphy. From 1952 to his death, he wrote regular script copybooks for primary and middle school students in Jinan for many times, and he never stopped for 30 years. He takes educating people as his highest pleasure, spends a lot of energy and most of his spare time on calligraphy art teaching, is diligent in teaching, does not admire honor and interests, and lives a quiet and comfortable life. His greatest contribution in his life is not only the success of calligraphy art, but also the cultivation of a large number of reserve forces for the cause of Shandong calligraphy, which promoted the development and prosperity of Shandong calligraphy.

His style is very approachable. With the spread of his fame, his calligraphy works are also widely circulated and cherished by people, so people come to visit Mo Bao in an endless stream, but no matter what the situation, he can write books as he pleases, and he can satisfy his thoughts without spending money.

Especially in those difficult years when people can't turn back, it is difficult to guarantee food and clothing. But he still doesn't care about the rich profits and hardships. Every time the students go home, he enthusiastically stays and devotes all his hospitality. He always tries his best to help the poor students at home. In the 1960s, a disciple came from a poor county in northern Shandong to learn calligraphy, so Mr. Wang arranged for him to share a bed with his second son and live there for one and a half months. Therefore, the friendship between him and his disciples is close. Although Mr. Wang has been dead for 20 years, every time he goes to Tomb-Sweeping Day, students always come to his grave to express their sincere feelings of endless yearning and infinite admiration for his teacher.
