Selection of study couplets: sustenance (1)

In the long life, there must always be something to trust your body and mind. Zhang Yanyuan (8 15-907), a painter in the Tang Dynasty, once commented on himself:

"Nine pigeons lost, easy to learn, diligent day and night. Every time I get a roll and come across a painting, I can always repair it and play it every day, which will cause people to buy our clothes and reduce food. My wife and servants are anxious to sneer, or it's useless to do things all day. What can I do for it? Then he sighed: don't do useless things, then you can enjoy a limited life. "

Look at this brother Zhang. In order to collect famous paintings, he often scrimps and saves. His family laughed at him, "What's the point of doing such useless things all day!" But he sighed-"How can you spend this long life without doing something useless?"

700 years later, Dong Qichang (1555- 1636) also issued the same sigh:

"I read Spring Stone, which is thinner than official sentiment. You have to draw Michinosuke. Tao Shen lived in a simple way:' If you don't do useless things, how can you enjoy a limited life!' Compassion throughout the ages, only to believe alone, not to bid farewell to the laity. "

Regarding this "sustenance", Zhang Dai, a gifted scholar in the Ming Dynasty, said more harshly:

"People without addiction, so ruthless. There is no communication between people without shortcomings, so there is no true qi. "

If you don't have some real hobbies, Lao Zhang will never look at you.

Wang Wenzhi (1730- 1802), a flower explorer in Qing dynasty, wrote a couplet:

If things can spread, people can't be poor unless they have quality.

If a person's talent can stand the test of time and pass it on to the next generation, it must be because he is addicted to success. For example, Wang Xizhi's calligraphy, Su Dongpo's poetry, or Yuan Mei's garden food, Watt's universal steam engine.

If you want to be addicted, you will definitely devote yourself wholeheartedly. The key to the success of Wang Xizhi and Dong Qichang lies in their devotion to artistic creation. If it's just arty and pretentious, you can only make some gestures to coax laymen at most. The following pair of He (1799- 1873) just expresses this meaning:

Self-sufficiency is the only way to be true.

Hobbies can bring happiness that others cannot understand. In the Qing Dynasty, Mr. Hu Shu (1825- 1872) put it well:

Love this forever is more important than where to learn to forget the machine.

Immersed in it, it is fun, hiding in the small building into a unified, regardless of winter Xia Chunqiu, the intrigue in the world, fame and fortune have long been thrown outside the cloud nine.

Of course, some people are either not interested in anything, or get nothing, bored, only complaining. That's what the old prince Pu Ru's couplet (1896- 1963) means.

There are a few people who can talk in the world, and there is nothing to worry about in the world.

Mr Cai Yuanpei once advocated "replacing religion with aesthetic education". Its so-called "aesthetic education" is also "literature and art", which can immerse people in it, much like spiritual opium; However, literature and art can change temperament, cultivate spirit, nourish good roots and cultivate love in a quiet way, which is far beyond spiritual opium. Look at this pair widely circulated by Mr. Yi Bingshou (1754- 18 15):

Change temperament and cultivate spirit.

Most China literati have a strong "literary" plot. Mr. Jin Nong (1687- 1763), this pair is both literary and artistic:

Indulge in literature and art as lust, and take the ancients as friends.

Du Fu once said, "There are many beautiful words about human nature, and these words are not surprising and endless." . It is the lifelong dream of countless literati to carve one or two good poems and spread them through the ages. Let's look at Mr. Zhang Boying (187 1- 1949):

If you want to carve good sentences and beg for new wine, you must mix the poet's food with the English.

Enjoy yourself and drink a little wine-it may seem like providence, and good sentences are natural; It is also possible to twist your beard all day and not say a word. It's hard for outsiders to talk, and it's hard for people who know.

And champion Lu Runxiang (1841-1915):

I am proud of a thousand words, and I look forward to a five-color pen.

Is Wang Yang's insolence, bursting out.

Su Dongpo (1037-111) wrote an essay, Wen Shuo, about his fussy feelings:

My words are like fountains, spouting out at random and gurgling on the flat ground, although it takes thousands of miles a day. And its relationship with the twists and turns of rocks and the shape of things is unknown. The knower always does what he should do and stops at what he can't do. That's all. I don't know the rest.

What can we ordinary people say after reading Mr. Dongpo's feelings? -people are satellites in the sky!

Lin Zexu (1785- 1850), a national hero, is also a scholar, juren, scholar and academician. His articles are all well-written;

I have enjoyed writing all my life, just like wind and rain.

Talented and educated, writing can really make a difference.

For the master, laughing and cursing and gossiping in the street can be handy in composition and turn decay into magic. This is exactly what yang xian, a famous official scribe in the Qing Dynasty (pronounced "Xian") (18 19- 1896) meant:

Wine songs are delicious, and gossip is always in poetry.

? Unfortunately, no one will appreciate that amazing sentence occasionally! Tan's couplets can help you open up your mind:

Write a book for the time being and invite wild cranes to listen to good sentences.

Don't say that birds make no sense. This bird is no ordinary bird. Everyone knows whether your writing is good or not.
