What is Xu Wei's calligraphy style?

Xu Wei is a bold and unconstrained person, "wild and unrestrained, indulging in mountains and rivers." His books are as fantastic as his own. Therefore, the evaluation of Xu Wei's calligraphy should not be based on the gains and losses of stippling, but on the overall spiritual temperament. Although he loves Mi Fei and Su Shi's calligraphy, his calligraphy is the best among many families and has a unique style. Xu's two lines of cursive scrolls, which are hidden in Tianyi Pavilion in Ningbo and Shanghai Museum, do have the trend of "mountains rushing to the sea and sand thundering". They are thousands of miles away and independent for a while. Their book "God" is almost unparalleled since the Ming Dynasty. Xu Wei, the originator of freehand brushwork in ink and wash in Ming and Qing Dynasties, splashed ink and vertical pen on painting, which is the same as the pursuit of spiritual tolerance in cursive script.
