As for Yan Kai's selected works, as far as I know, The Monument to Two Towers is a model of China, written in the year when Duke Lu was not confused. The brushwork has traces of Chu Suiliang, Ou Yangxun and Yu Shinan in the early Tang Dynasty, and has a certain style of Yan Zhenqing. It is a China model that is worth learning, and it is beneficial to further study the running script models such as Preface to the Holy Teaching of Huairen Jizi and Thousand-character Works of Zhiyong Cao Zhen.
As for the diligent monument, I don't like it very much, especially after comparing the monuments such as Magu, Li and Yanjiamiao. Many people in the world call Yan Kai's "Diligence Monument" authentic. Ironically, this monument has only been rebuilt for a hundred years, and people who have studied beauty in past dynasties have never seen it or been influenced by it. To talk about the artistic value of "Diligence Monument", I think it may be rewarding to write "Diligence Monument" in the style of confession, but the so-called horizontal precision and vertical roughness is the authentic Yan Kai, which really makes people smile.
If you want to learn from Yan Kai, I suggest you learn Confessions, draw a line with your elbow in the middle, and experience the beauty of his pen with your heart. For example, take advantage of the situation in the air and the explosive force of cutting the front. As time goes by, choose a tablet computer in Yan Kai that you like, and recommend Magu Xiantan Ji and Yan Jia Temple Monument. The former is vigorous and the latter is vigorous. In addition, you can also refer to the copying or works of calligraphers of past dynasties, such as Qian Feng's works, Tan Di 125 Notice, He Zizhen's works, etc.
At present, I only know the above level. Several capable book lovers recommended Zhushan. I think the wonder lies in its naturalness and clumsiness. He Zizhen's works are considered to be the best written by Yan Kai, and they well exaggerate the characteristics of the empty palace. You can look at his works for reference when you have the opportunity.
I hope I can learn something from the landlord and wish the calligraphy art a ladder flight.
