In today's book-seeking world, it marks a unique style.
The festival painting art in China comes down in one continuous line. For thousands of years, different schools have developed and matured in their own artistic laws. Although there have been attempts to innovate calligraphy with the method of "skillfully involving painters" in history, it is difficult to stop the development trend of calligraphy under its own laws. Therefore, it was denounced by Sun as a "book without work" and was taken as a warning by ancient calligraphers. However, the prosperity of the calligraphy garden for thousands of years certainly depends on the publicity of the calligraphy body, but "the homology of calligraphy and painting" is an eternal motif-as long as Chinese characters exist, Chinese characters exist-which cannot be ignored. It is certainly a dead end to innovate calligraphy simply by "skillfully involving painters". However, it is an undeniable reality that books and paintings, both belonging to the art category, can never escape the role of artistic principles. For painting and calligraphy, the principle of art refers to the method of modeling and composition. Painting is the object that the universe shapes and constitutes; Calligraphy is based on Chinese characters and Chinese characters. The difference is only objects, but the principle of expressing them is the same. If we agree with this statement, then we can confidently say that the motif of "painting and calligraphy are homologous" is still of practical significance.
Of course, we can't simply use the concept and name of plastic arts to define calligraphy with rich connotations. Poems on Huai in Zhiguo, Thirty-six Strategies in Ou Yangxun and Twelve Meanings in Zhang Changshi in Yan Zhenqing all focus on the shaping of glyphs. Yi Bingshou's Secret of Working has the connotation of modern composition art, but he uses it more consciously and strongly. Although I don't have in-depth communication with Bai Nian, many of his works seem to respond to my point of view.

If paying attention to the pursuit of formal beauty and the use of seal script is the reason for the revival of official script in Qing dynasty, it should be said that we should pay attention to the historical experience of Qing dynasty since modern times, but with the progress of the times, the aesthetic field has also expanded, and the discovery of underground cultural relics is precisely the luck of our ancestors. Therefore, all kinds of newly unearthed handwriting, especially some traces in various transitional periods in history, provide excellent conditions for our general calligraphy work. I think there must be new plans here in a hundred years. Of course, it depends on his insight and chance. In fact, people are United.
