All roads lead to Rome. The future social competition will naturally be more intense, but the skills can still survive.
As a traditional art in China, calligraphy has a long history. In the past years, there were many words about the high realm of words and regulations, but few words about the initial stage of entry. As a result, many people stared at the highest order and fell to the first order without paying attention. In the Jianghu of calligraphy, there are many people who have been writing for a lifetime without getting started. One of the reasons is the improper use of writing tools.
Many people have the question: What brush should a novice use?
It is not easy to answer this question, but here is a simple answer for beginners' reference only.
First, it is not recommended for beginners to use pure wool brushes.
I have heard many opinions: beginners should use wool, because wool is soft and can be used to practice brushwork. This view seems reasonable, but it is groundless. Wool brushes were only popular in the middle of Qing Dynasty. Before that, calligraphers used bristles. On the contrary, the calligraphy in the bristle era was brilliant, but it was not good after using wool. Moreover, a soft brush may not be able to practice writing ability, which depends on active exertion, while too soft wool is easy to develop the bad habit of dragging the brush, which is not conducive to the cultivation of active exertion habit.
Second, it is not recommended for beginners to use Changfeng brush.
If animal hair is used as a dragon and phoenix brush, the cost is too high, so the pen maker uses nylon instead. Nylon is elastic, but not as flexible as animal hair, which is not conducive to cultivating the feeling on the hand, that is, pen control. In addition, long-peak wool, like wool, is easy to lead to the bad habit of procrastination, so beginners should restrain long-peak wool.
Thirdly, it is not recommended for beginners to use nylon brush.
Many novices don't know how to choose brushes, so they buy very cheap brushes. In fact, most goods are really worth a penny. Nowadays, many brushes are filled with too much nylon in order to reduce the cost, which is full of strength but not attractive. However, most people can't distinguish animal hair from sheep hair in a short time. This is a little troublesome, you need to see it, you need to ask it, and you need to compare it. Try not to be too stingy with the money to buy a brush, because thirty or fifty dollars will still cost you.
Fourth, it is not recommended for beginners to use large brushes.
How old is it? I don't want to use a pen with a diameter of more than one centimeter for the first time. It is difficult to control the pen, and even the palms are sore and uncomfortable, which is easy to reduce the interest in learning.
Tip: The ancients basically didn't have to spend a lot of money.
Fifth, all the brushes available to beginners of calligraphy are hard brushes.
There are three kinds of hard brushes: wolf brush, purple brush and chicken brush, all of which can be used. Wolf hair is not the coarse hair of a wolf, but the fine hair on the tail of a wild weasel in the north. Because of the rising price of raw materials, a good wolf brush is often several hundred thousand yuan. At present, the so-called wolf hair on the market is mostly nylon products. Purple hair is rabbit hair, which is more valuable than wolf hair, and purple is not durable, so most people can't afford it.
To tell the truth, pure wolf hair and purple brush are really expensive. However, there is also a kind of brush that is double-brush, that is, the brush tip is made of wool and the auxiliary brush is made of ordinary wool or nylon. In this way, the cost of pen making is reduced and the effect is good. It is recommended that beginners use this kind of double brushes.
The most famous double-strand brush is Dabaiyun, because it is a double-strand brush mainly made of wool, so it is soft and difficult to control the pen. It is not recommended. Double double brush, mainly hard hair, with seven colors and three sheep, or wolf and sheep are divided in half. The quality is ok, but not expensive, suitable for beginners.
Here, I recommend the chicken writing brush, also known as Little Red Riding Hood or Little Red Riding Hood. Probably the accountant used this notebook before. Chicken feather brush is the cheapest of all kinds of brushes, and it is definitely more expensive than nylon brush, if nylon is considered as hair. In fact, chicken brushes are not all chicken feathers, and there are also a handful of wolves in the middle. Because there are not many wolves, merchants no longer use nylon to fool people, but are real.
Finally, how to distinguish between a brush and a nylon pen: you can't tell it by looking at it, unless you take a high magnification magnifying glass. The front glume of animal hair is streamlined like an arrow cone, while the nylon head is generally needle-shaped or simple cylindrical. Generally speaking, the way to distinguish nylon from animal hair is trial. Nylon brush is full of vigor and stubbornness as soon as it is soaked. The Beast Mao Mao pen is very soft when it is first soaked, and it becomes more elastic with use. Although elastic, it is soft and smooth.
