The Historical Evolution of Cuimiao Town

Cui Temple, originally the name of a temple, is Cui Shi Family Temple (the original site is in the government compound of Cui Miao Town). During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, there was a chief secretary named Cui in Sichuan, and a temple was built here in the village, named Cui Shi Family Temple. It is said that this temple is extremely effective, which has made many believers get their wishes. With the expansion of its influence, it has become the center of people's activities and trading market. So far, the name of Cui Temple has been used. Dajin was established for six years (AD 1222). This township belongs to Xingyang County, Zhengzhou, and is Dunyi Township. In the 20th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 154 1), it belonged to Xingyang County and was Caojiabao. In the eighth year of Chongzhen (AD 1635), it belonged to Xingyang County, Zhengzhou, Kaifeng Prefecture. After the autonomy was implemented on February 25th (AD 19 10), the township was Gu Cao Township, Xingyang County, where Cuimiao Town was located. In the first year of the Republic of China (A.D. 19 12), it belonged to Gu Cao Township, Xingyang County, and in the seventh year of the Republic of China (A.D. 19 18), it belonged to the western part of Xingyang County. In the 16th year of the Republic of China (AD 1927), it was the seventh district of Xingyang County. In the 21st year of the Republic of China (AD 1932), Xingyang was the fifth district. In the twenty-fifth year of the Republic of China (AD 1936), it was the third district of Xingyang; In the 31st year of the Republic of China (AD 1942), Wang Cui Town, Xingyang County. April 1948, Cui Temple was liberated; 1May, 948, which belongs to Xingyang Special Zone, is the third district, and the township is built under the district. In June 195 1, 1 1, Liuhe and Miao Zi were classified as the third district. 1in August, 958, the people's commune, namely Cui Miao people's commune, was established in the withdrawal area; 196 1 June, 2006 was the administrative area of Cui Miao, Xingyang County, which governed six communes: Miao Zi, Liuhe, Xiaozhai, Shipo, Cui Miao and Shaozhai. 1963 1 month, Cui Miao administrative region was changed to Cui Miao people's commune; 1April 1983 was changed to Cuimiao Township, which governs 22 administrative villages; 1April, 1993, with the approval of the Henan Provincial People's Government, Cuimiao Township was revoked and Cuimiao Town was established, with the original jurisdiction unchanged.
